Five sessions will cover all of the following behavior modification
issues, problem solving, as well as complete on and off leash
obedience;

Behavior modification

Digging
Barking
Chewing
Nipping
Jumping up on people
Getting on the furniture
Getting into the trash
Chasing cats
Hyperactive behavior
House training
etc.

Complete On/Off Leash Obedience consists of the
following commands.

Heel: to stay at your pace while at your left side, in the heel position.
Sit: to sit exactly when you say.
Down: to lie down exactly when you say.
Stay: to stay for an extended amount of time, until released from the
command.
Dog’s name: to look at you and pay attention.
Come: to come to you.
Wait: to wait in the general area and not to follow – this is more lenient
than Stay.
No: to immediately stop doing something, or to correct a behavior.
Good Dog: a sign to continue the behavior (associated with praise).
Inside: to go inside crate, doorway, enclosure, etc.
Take a break: this releases your dog from training.
Quiet: to stop barking or whining.
Go to your bed: to go to their specific bed, crate, or blanket.


This course moves at your pace. We schedule the class based on your
schedule, and how quickly your dog learns. We will not schedule the next
session until your dog has mastered the homework from the previous
session.

This course is designed for the owner and family who is able and willing
to follow-up with training between sessions. (If you are interested in the

In the first training session, an initial consultation is conducted, where
your family's personal goals are discussed, and your dog is evaluated to
create a custom training plan.

During each session the trainer will work directly with your dog to teach
the new behavior. As the dog is being taught, direction is also given to
the owner on how to follow up with the new behavior through the
following week. Complete On/Off Leash Obedience is taught to your dog,
as well as discussion and problem solving for any individual Behavior
Modification issues.


After the initial five-sessions, additional sessions may be purchased at a
discounted rate of $35.00 per session at our location. We also offer
boarding, complete with refresher training for dogs who have completed
one of our training packages, (please see our Facilities page.)

Please note, that it takes consistency on everyone’s part to accomplish
the end result of a well-trained dog. If you do not have the time to work
with your dog everyday, you may want to consider our Boarding School
option.
