When I first purchased our puppy my family and I were so excited. But that excitement
didn't last long when we discovered how difficult puppies can really be. We were
unprepared for the housebreaking, jumping, chewing, and general disruption a new dog
can bring into a household. Little Angels Dog Training to the recue! Mrs. Harlow was so
professional and kind, (I think my husband and I needed more training than our dog!).
Within a very short period of time, we had the dog of our dreams thanks to Little Angels. I
would do it again a thousand times over. God Bless

I called Katie at Little Angels Dog Training with a great deal of frustration and panic. One
day, my 3 year old Australian Sheppard X, Indi, was not being a "little angel", in fact, I was
convinced Indi had grown two little red horns ! Indi had seized an opportunity and got out
of the yard, I had been attempting to catch her for over 2.5 hours! This included me
chasing her as she chased a mini van with a dog inside. Fortunately, the man driving
stopped when he saw me chasing him! With the help of his dog, we were able to catch Indi.
Somewhere over her life, the word "come" meant let's play a game and of course, the
game was only in play when she got out or was at dog park off leash. Nothing would get
her to come back - not even steak or chicken! The tricks I resorted to catch her exceeded
imagination.
Katie and I discussed my problem on the phone and ways to correct her behavior.
Everything sounded wonderful on the phone. When we met, I was very pleased with how
Katie interacted with me and Indi.
We did five sessions with Katie as well as daily "homework" . Since "come" meant play to
Indi; Katie and I taught Indi a new word to recall her. I have tested Indi many times with a
lot of distractions using the new recall word and every time she returns to me!
Now, I am more than thrilled to say, Indi can walk with me off leash, she returns when
called and has the same happy personality. In some ways, she seems happier than before
as she has more freedom and the bond between her and I has strengthened. Thanks so
much to Katie and Little Angels for helping me get my "little angel" back!

Little Angels Dog Training was the best thing I had done for my shih tzu Panda. I am not
good with training dogs and had no idea how to go about training her. I enrolled my Panda
in the Boarding School program and when we got her back she was not so hyper and she
had learned new commands. She is a changed puppy. Thank you Katie for your help with
our family puppy.

We wanted to thank you for helping Sierra make so much progress in such a short time.
When we came to you, Sierra couldn’t focus on any command or task due to her focus on
her ball (or Kong). Her newfound ability to take her mind off the toy complete any
command is incredible. She can finally obey our commands, regardless of where the toy
is.
Rescuing a dog with an unknown history can be a scary endeavor. How will he/she
behave around children, other dogs, or when left alone? Does he/she chew or dig? Is
he/she house broken? These were just a few of the questions we were about to find out.
We got lucky! Sierra (originally Beth) was a healthy black lab, although underfed and
skittish from her prior experiences. While she had as much energy as any young Labrador
Retriever (approximately 1 year old), she was good with children and ignored other
animals, didn’t chew and was house broken. She was also a leash puller, hyper and only
knew a few simple commands. She could fetch/retrieve a toy (ball or Kong) for hours at a
time, she not listen to commands if her toy was insight. Worse, she would chase the toy
into the street or other hazardous locations and not heed commands or warnings.
While I was patient to work her on many of these problems, I needed help. I was fortunate
enough to find Little Angel’s on the web, and began taking Sierra in for her lessons. Her
behavior change was instantaneous (with Katie, and eventually with me). Sierra
completed her training and we have continued to practice all we learned. Yes, we! As
Sierra learned, so did Ana and I. From Katie we learned better training techniques than
those we had previously used and were able to expand Sierra’s knowledge.
We receive monthly emails from Little Angel’s giving us additional training tips and
opportunities for additional training, in group lessons.
A final note. Little Angel’s offers boarding to its graduates. If you love your dog as much
as we do, you’ll be comforted to know that he/she is begin well taken care of in a house
environment and not a kennel. The additional training they receive will help reinforce
what they’ve learned. We have been especially appreciative of the emails we receive
while we’re away letting us know Sierra is OK and having fun.

(Our "Little Angel")
Our family waited a long time to get dogs. In September of last year we bought two lab
puppies. While they were darling and fun, they grew quickly and we weren't prepared for
what we had to do to train them. They were jumping on us, not minding, and basically just
being "high energy labs". I was feeling very frustrated knew that we had to do
something. I hired "Little Angles Dog Training" and it was the best thing I could have
done. Katie has a passion for animals...and it shows. She came to our house, visited with
us and in about a month she took both dogs to train at her home. When they returned,
they were different dogs, same personalities, but they now were dogs that could blend
into our family better. The whole situation has gone from frustrating to great. We LOVE
our dogs and they now obey commands. I highly recommend "Little Angels Dog Training"
as Katie not only trained them but kept in touch through the process and continues to
keep in touch.
