Book Reviews - A Guide to Training Your Own Seizure Assistance and Alert Dog, is a must have on your book shelf! Not only does the author go through basic training techniques, but all the information she gives on every day practical needs just blew my mind away! There were so many pointers and tips I never would have thought of while training my own seizure alert dog. Information from how to get in and out of the car to how to walk with your dog while shopping at a grocery store and even using a public restroom really was an eye opener for me. I was struggling with my dog and with training, but after reading her book and how she broke it down step by step, I was able to step up my own training techniques and together my service dog and I became a team. If you are looking to train your own seizure alert and assistance dog, I highly recommend you read this book and put it into practice because it's not just the dog that needs to be trained, but the owner as well. - D. Cesena LOVE LOVE LOVE your training books. Thanks to your books, my standard Poodle is now a seizure alert dog. He has not missed a seizure yet! - J.H. Black |
